Solution
In your Realtek app, set it to 5.1. Do a speaker sound check from the app to see if all the speakers are working one at a time to eliminate cabling problems. You may have a bad wire for the rears so test it first using the app. Once all is working then move on to the real world test.

Now when playing a movie that is 5.1, it's using dolby digital or DTS. The rears are naturally low. Also with a computer the fronts are in your face next to the monitor, and the rears are way back. You need to crank the volume of the backs and reduce the volume of the front speakers wither with the speakers themselves if possible, or in the Realtek app. Adjust the levels so the rears are louder and balance things out to your liking.

Once...
I think i do i When i sound check they all work how they should but no music or coming out of the back speakers and in realtex audio i have to have it set to 7.1 for nd the 5.1 rear speakers on 5.1 in grey out

If you say you all cables are correct i can't really help you much than to double check the layout and update drivers if its required.

I would suggest you to follow a step-to-step guide, it might help.
Worst case your hardware might be defective, you can test this if you have other 5.1 speakers.

Once everything is working and adjusted look for an option in Realtek to simulate 5.1 for 2.0 sources. It'll play music through all 4 speakers. You may not have that option.
