Okay, so today I got this sound system on my desktop, and it's giving me trouble to actually work. I had all the cords plugged in, color coordinated, nothing is plugged in wrong as far as I can tell.
The problem is that the speaker system just simply won't work... with anything OTHER THAN testing them. Like, I'll go to my sound configuration and configure and test each speaker individually, and each will work perfectly. But then, if I go try to play music from my computer or watch a video or movie, the only speakers I hear sound from are the ones on my monitor: the built-in ones.
Yes, volume is up.
Yes, it's plugged in.
Yes, each cord is plugged into the correct hole.
-Yes, I've double- and triple-checked.
Each speaker plays fine when I test it from my computer's configuration, and also when I test them through the Realtek HD Audio Manager. I just don't know what's preventing these speakers from working with any sort of audio other than the testing.
