Logitech z506 5.1 help to tv

Hey just trying to help mom get a nice 5.1 surround sound with the Logitech z506 with this tv. Please tell me what I need to get in order to get the most out of it. Not wanting to spend a lot but any advice is helpful . Tv is samsung tv model LN40D503F6FXZA. Amazon links would be helpful

Since that TV has no audio outputs - the quick and cheap way would be to use HDMI audio extractor like this 4K HDMI Audio Extractor which would connect between your HDMI source and the tv. Then connect up the RCA audio L/R and it will give simulated surround sound.

To get real 5.1 output get this along with it - Panlong 5.1 Digital Sound Decoder Converter and connect the optical SPDIF output from the extractor into this, and then connect up 3 x 1/8" TRS cables using these color codes for jacks Color-coding scheme for connectors and ports
