Looking at used laptop

Looking at purchasing a used. Laptop with a 840m in it and ive seen the screen shot that says there is 6gb of available memory. My question is there an 840m made with 6gb of memory or is it possibly sharing memory if that is even possible? The laptop is and acer v3-572pg .
The price is $600cdn used. It has 8gb system memory.

the 840m usually comes with only 2GB of Vram.since its used you might want to clarify with the owner regarding this issue.
