I am a senior in college looking for a laptop that will fulfill all of my needs, last a long time, be durable, and somewhat quick. Looking for at least an i-5 or the AMD equivalent
Thanks for your time

I know :/ the big thing would be the lenovo y-570 right now, and I would love to get it but this is kind of a birthday present for me lol and I started at $400 then went to 500 etc... and I am in college right now without any form of income so I cant exactly save the extra 200.... What I really want is a dependable brand 500gb 4gbram intel i5 and some form of decent gpu, i'm not gonna run skyrim on high or at all most likely, i just want something that will last. Will the 700 dollar models give me so much more as far as that or just gaming?

ok thank you, that helps a lot. So if i'm in the market for 450-550 laptop for medium settings on games + good durability, speed, and battery which laptop should i look to?

Thanks, I kind of like the lenovo, the only thing is I was really looking for an i-5 processor and am worried about the A-6. Is there any i-5's in that price range that are similar?

well as of now I am pretty set on the $700 lenovo y570 i-7. should I bite? or is there something else out there for the same price but better? I cannot go above 750 at all i'm even pushing it at 700

I really dont think so :/
I'm not worried about the gaming so much as the longevity of it and its ability to
be versatile. I just want mid settings on games, and a solid laptop. is the y-570 not what i'm looking for at that price range?
