Currently, I own a lenovo Y500(i7,gt 750m, 8GB). I have had this since June of 2013 and have been loving it, but recently some of the new games the laptop hasn't been taking so well. A lot of the games of late 2014 and 2015 are beginning to cause my laptop some FPS issues because my graphics card cannot keep up with the load these games require. Because of this, I am looking to purchase a new gaming laptop, and I need some help on the fastest one available. My budget is $1200. Thanks!

P.S. Please DON'T tell me to get a desktop, I travel very frequently and cannot deal with having to lug a desktop around. I know they are much faster for the price but I really cannot use one because I need portability.

You must make sure this has an SSD in it. It's the most basic upgrade which will drastically help with your computing experience. It also will drastically increase the longevity of your computer. Make sure it has an SSD and not an HDD.

Actually, I forgot to mention this, my lenovo y500 has a 1TB HDD and a 128GB SSD for games, I may just put this into the computer as a second drive unless it comes with a larger SSD by default, I would rather have an HDD+SSD rather than a large SSD because its cheaper and gives me more space
