Size: Not too sure what you mean. If Screen Size is what you mean, >=15".
Resolution: >= 720p
Portable? Yes
Battery Life: ~6 hours I suppose.
Games: Diablo 2 + LoD (Windowed & Max Res 800x600), Fallout: New Vegas (Medium)
Task(s): Typing reports, browsing web, streaming Netflix.
Storage: >= 200GB

Keep Laptop: At least 2 years.
Optical Drive: Optional, but being able to read most disks would be nice.

The Acer Aspire E5-573G-56RG is currently the least expensive laptop you can buy that has a dedicated GPU (940m). It is on sale for $500 no end date is specified so the sale can end suddenly. It does not have an optical drive and it comes with Windows 10.

As far as I can tell Fallout: NV is reported to be compatible with Win 10, but Fallout 3 is not compatible with Win 10. Bethesda had no intention of patching FO3 to be compatible with Win 10.

This is the cheapest currently available new laptop that I know of with a dedicated GPU @$280 it should perform slightly better than HD5500 or R6 integrated graphics. Fallout 3 works fine with Windows 10 as long as you have done the same things you do to get it to work for 7 and 8. Runs max settings on my daughter's A8-6410 integrated R5 in the 40-50's FPS@ 768, and in the 30-40's FPS in Fallout NV Max settings+ beautiful skies mod and a couple others on Windows 10. I imagine the one I linked to have no problem with NV at high settings, or your other games, but recommend Jaguarskx's link as it can play those games in 1080p, but most newer games will still need to be cranked down to 768/720.
