Looking for a New iPhone

I'm with Verizon right now and looking to get a new iPhone. I wanted to see if you guys knew of any good places to buy the phone itself from, anyone have any suggestions? I was on their upgrade plan every 2 years but it seems they stopped dooing it and I wanting to save as much money on a new phone as I can. I have a 6s now and would like a 7, but could just as well get another 6s. Anyone have any suggestions where to get a new one from for a good deal?

I was just thinking about buying it outside Verizon and then have them activate it.

I really don't have to have an iPhone, I could change it up for the right phone for the right price. I just don't want to pay $600 dollars for an iPhone 6.

If you have a 6 now, why bother with upgrading? About where to buy one, eBay, Craigslist, Amazon would be the top ones to check. A new one, unlocked or for Verizon will not be very cheap unless it's stolen. Looks like a bit over $400 for a new Verizon iPhone 6.
