Yeah, was having a bad day, someone scammed a bunch of people at my local bank and had to spend 4 hours getting my account fixed. :(

But I am sorry if i was rude to anyone.

1Shado do you have any suggestions for a laptop?

Fair enough, does sound like a rough day.

I dunno. I was thinking maybe one of the Acer V Nitro series. But they don't have an optical drive, and may be above your budget.

Or maybe the Dell i7559, if there's one in your price range. I've heard a lot of good comments about them in a couple different forums (including here).

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834298770&nm_mc=KNC-GoogleAdwords-PC&cm_mmc=KNC-GoogleAdwords-PC-_-pla-_-Gaming+Laptops-_-N82E16834298770&gclid=CKX-moqNlswCFc8lgQoddLgDwQ&gclsrc=aw.ds

But it's another one without an optical drive. :(

Unfortunately, I'm more of the MSI and Asus persuasion, and they seem to be the ones that still often include an optical drive.

Msi annoys me because they have a stupid no upgrade policy unless you want to void your warranty. Im eye balling the i7559 but the issues that I have with it are the poor upgrade path, and the extremely poor keyboard and trackpad.

Im still considering it but id like to have a decent keyboard.

As your budget, I will recommend the Lenovo Y700-14 and MSI GL62 for you. MSI has many features that Lenovo doesn't have, but if you are much more spec person, depends on your budget, Lenovo will be better.
