Hey everyone, so I'm I'm the market for a new tablet (updating from an early kindle fire). I have a budget in mind alalready: below 200 or around 200 at least.

Screen size is an issue as I'm taking this to work and classes. 7 to 10" seems most comfortable.

Uses involve watches shows/movies and reading books and comics

I have two in mind that fit. However ones a tablet and the other is a tablet/laptop I guess.

They the Asus ME572:http://www.bestbuy.com/site/asus-me572-intel-moorefield-16gb-black/8769033.p?id=1219365672438&ref=199&loc=v2AzworP6QI&acampID=8769033&siteID=v2AzworP6QI-v5PJOQbT2MD3AhPPfWpyGg

And

The Asus transformer t100:http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00OBQ59UK/ref=mp_s_a_1_10?qid=1433377127&sr=8-10&pi=AC_SX110_SY165&keywords=microsoft+surface

Both seem good, but I'm not sure which would be the best for me.

Thanks for any help!

I have this one, and its pretty good, have windows 8, 64gb storage (but few connections)

Between the two you mentioned, I would go with the t100, more storage, windows 8, keyboard, bigger screen (better to watch movies)

Btw, I'm not sure what model this one is http://www.amazon.com/8-0-Z3740-2GB-32GB-REF/dp/B00W7A8YJU/ref=sr_1_1?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1433385460&sr=1-1&keywords=lenovo+miix , but it its a lenovo miix 2 you should go for it. that is a great price. Check with sellers

Yeah I hear ya. I just thought it was good because it still came with the full warranty you would get from a non-refurbished model, so it'd be guaranteed to perform the same.

Otherwise, I did like the T100's I've tried.

Ok thanks. I have one last question. This t100 will mostly be used for minor things aka movies, web surfing, and possibly quick sketches with a program. Although I may use it time time to play games. These will be lite games, nothing intensive or serious. Something like Civ v or cities skyline, maybe xcom but that's a stretch. If the 32 gb version can great. If not it's not that big of a deal. I know this isn't a game orient laptop (also already have one for gaming use) I just need to know if this could handle these simple games

Civ V does not seems to be handle by the T100. When I as searching for mine I only tried to find one that can run wow.

I end up buying Lenovo Miix II but didnt try to play any games on it so far.

Thank you for the suggestions, although again pricing is an issue. But I think 32 will suffice, as i mostly will be downloading minor videos and and books. Games would only include one or two at time, if any at all. So thanks again for the help but t100 with 32gb is cheap and seems like a good choice.
