Looking for a well rounded laptop with decent portability

From Canada and looking for a machine that fits the following criteria:
-14 inch screen (size of the laptop is of utmost importance, anything with an overall width of around 14 inches should be okay)
-haswell i7 preferred (i5 is a possibility as well)
-Nvidia gt 740-755m
-Decent quality screen (900p - 1080p pref)
-touchscreen would be a plus (decent trackpad would be nice as well)
-good quality build -around the 1000 price point give or take 200

The following laptops are what have caught my eye:
Lenovo y410p (can't get it in time for Christmas which is a bit of a downer but it is a serious contender)
Asus n46jv (seems like a decent quality laptop but the screen resolution is holding me back)
Asus n550jv (if only it was smaller)

Just looking for some input on what people think of these models (if you have any experience with them) and any suggestion you may have that hopefully fit most of the criteria. Thanks in advanced guys!!!

I personally like the current Dell XPS line. They look like they are built much better than my current older model. The screen is pretty high quality as well as the specs.
