looking for battery maintenance program

hello,

i own dell precision M4300 that originally comes with windows vista but later i installed win 7 64 bit. i'm looking for a compitable program for this computer, that manages the battery charge and discharge automatically. i tried to install the "command power manager" and "quickset" but non of them are compitable with my system, as the error messege informs.

is there something that can work on my old computer? i also tried to search for many "non-dell" programs but couldn't find something that discharge the battery automatically without the need of me unplugging it manually.

Why exactly do you want to do this? All that does is use up the remaining cycles in your battery.

I too am curious why you want to do this. Discharge or remove battery? Unplugging it manually from the wall charger? Unplugging the battery from the laptop?

Software to drain the battery? Why not just leave the laptop running if you want to drain it.
