looking for gaming laptop what would you do

hey guys im looking to buy a gaming laptop i already have a desktop i just built cost me $3k so i dont need one of them i just looking for some input on laptops i dont no much about them as i do desktop anyways the 3 im looking at are

there a little bit of price change in the 2 im looking for one in this price range we all know the alienware bs but i feel this is priced ok and then on the acer i dont no much about them i have never used anything acer so some feed back would be great or if you guys know anything better let me know keep it around 1200 if you can and thank you

it is nice but would it be better to get one with the 900+gpu now? and its a little big almost 9lbs also just seen its a open box

That's only a new generation. The 870m outperforms the 960m slightly.

Both of the laptops are for different types of people. The alienware is a drt whereas the acer a a portable gaming laptop. As a result, the acer will not have as good cooling as the dell.

But the acer has the advantage of the cpu. This is important for cpu intensive games.

The choice is yours as both laptops have similar performance.

From what I been seeing 960 is about the same as the 870 but the 960 uses less power and is maxwell and not Kepler and from what I understand maxwell is better? Also from doing some research the 965 is better than both be ease
