Looking for a gaming laptop able to run diablo 3/skyrim/crysis 2 basically anything on max settings, looking to spend a maximum of 1000 after taxes (if that is possible) New or used. Could I get a little insight on these? Possibly what are a must have to look for? Any info much appreciated!

Don't go with an Alienware - they cut corners wherever they can and their OS is filled to the gills with bloatware.

I've had two friends both buy alienwares and get new computers as soon as they could because what they got was so shitty.

asus g75.. it has a newer, faster i7, a gtx 670 and the owner added a 240gb SSd

the only thing you should ask if its 1920 x 1080 resolution because that model also comes in 1366 x 768

What are the positives over the G75 over the Alienware M17x? Im torn between both.

Ive been looking at this http/www.xoticpc.com/asus-g75vwth72-preorder-p-5374.html

Not sure when its going to be out but it looks good and is a bit of a saving over the alienware.

Would love your opinions.
