Hello guys and girls!

I was sort of saving money for maxed out MacBook Pro 15" (Mid 2017 model) and now decided to just get a Windows one and just save a 1000€. (cause The 3.1GHz i7, Pro 560, 512GB SSD model costs 3450€ in my country so yea).

The best one I found is MSI GS63VR stealth pro ( 7700HQ, 16 GB , GTX 1070, 256 GB SSD). Didn't really understood the situation with the GPU , its like cut down model or something, but I did like the fact that it has 120Hz monitor. So waiting for suggestions/advices, thanks!

1. What is your budget?

2700$

2. What is the size of the notebook that you are considering?

Probably ~15.6"

3. What screen resolution do you want?

1920x1080 or higher

4. Do you need a portable or desktop replacement laptop?

Somewhere in the middle but more to desktop replacement side.

5. How much battery life do you need?

The more the better, but as I can gaming laptops don't last more than 5 hrs.

6. Do you want to play games with your laptop? If so then please list the games that you want to with the settings that you want for these games. (Low,Medium or High)?

Some CSGO, Overwatch, LoL, H1Z1, and of course some new games. And for the price of that thing of course would like to play with Mid-High settings.

7. What other tasks do you want to do with your laptop? (Photo/Video editing, Etc.)

Photo/Video editing, Programming, Gaming.

8. How much storage (Hard Drive capacity) do you need?

At least a 256GB SSD, and maybe a 1TB HDD.

9. If you are considering specific sites to buy from, please post their links.

10. How long do you want to keep your laptop?

For more than two years for sure.

11. What kind of Optical drive do you need? DVD ROM/Writer,Bluray ROM/Writer,Etc ?

12. Please tell us about the brands that you prefer to buy from them and the brands that you don't like and explain the reasons.

No idea but from what I've seen on youtube msi got better build quality than asus. Might be wrong though.

13. What country do you live in?

Latvia.

Edit: Asus ROG Strix GL702VS Titanium , closest one with the same specs( kaby lake i7 and gtx 1070) and 180$ cheaper.
