Looking for help with my laptop

I have an HP 2000-2b19wm Notebook PC that won't boot up. A few days ago I went into the BIOS system configuration to run some diagnostic tests on my laptop. Since I did that, now I'll turn on my machine and the fan runs high for a few seconds then stops and sits there with a black screen. Taking any and all ideas, suggestions, and advice on how I can get my laptop to boot up normal and work again please!
