Looking for Laptop - Budget 900-1000

Looking for a laptop in the 14" screen range, can run some basic games (beyond earth, etc) Fairly light weight (under 5lbs.) Good build quality and can last at least 4 years.

I don't travel with it much; however, it will be a true Lap computer in the living room.
Any ideas?
