Looking for new laptop under $1000

Hi,

I've been using my Asus X401A for almost 6 years now. It's a gift from my mom during college and now I feel I need to upgrade it. I'm looking for a laptop that can be used for basic stuff and also Video Editing and some gaming.

The laptop would be mainly used in Video Editing and i would love to have a 13-15 inch laptop because i move a lot and it would be a hassle carrying a 17 inch laptop.

For games, i'm thinking of playing GTA V on my laptop once in awhile.

My budget is $1000 or less and if there's a store that gives military discount, let me know. lol

For storage, it would be nice if i'll get 1tb. don't really care if it is ssd or not.
