Looking for the wired remote for the Logitech Z 5300 (Z-5300)

I inherited a Logitech Z-5300 and it's missing the wired remote controller. The system is in great shape but it's useless without the remote.
If you know of anyone who might have this system and may want to donate or sell the remote, please send me a message.

I'm in the same situation here. The remote control is proprietary but connects with a male VGA port. I don't know if Logitech sells them individually, but there might be a way to hack it if only I knew the control's specs.
