Looking to setup a security camera but with specific needs....

Thanks for reading! I used to use Yawcam for surveillance but after a recent break in, I was lucky to be able to use it as it only took still images, I was able to prosecute due to overwhelming evidence and because I was able to ID the person. But in the off chance something else happens, I'm looking for some better software. I haven't been able to locate anything to my liking. I'm looking for a few things in specific order.

1) records video and audio
2) motion activation is a must
3) runs in the background (would prefer it not to show in the system tray but can't be on the start bar)
4) able to save recordings to a network drive
5) free ;) or at least cheap with a trial period, I can't find less than $30
6) email or other remote notification of motion would be nice
6a) streaming ability

I've already looked into the legalities in my state and city with the help of the detective and my attorney, and all of the things on my list pass for my uses with an easily identifiable notification that the property is being recorded.
