OK, this is cool. I think at the moment the price is a little high, but I'd bet that as the technology matures, it will settle down.

I think the idea of the part that can disconnect for restaurant use is brilliant.

This is definitely something I am going to keep an eye on for the future.

Excellent article, but one minor clarification. The LoopPay Card is not able to wipe all the data when out of Bluetooth range of the phone. At least not yet. Definitely an enhancement that makes sense and is under consideration by the LoopPay team.
