low fps coz of ac adapter problem

so here's my problem, i play dota 2 a lot, but since i formated my pc my fps is very poor - 20, and it's very frustrating to play on it. instead i should have around 70 fps, and that's what i have when i plug in my ac adapter in my laptop, but only for less than 10 seconds, than it shows that the ac adapter is plugged, but the battery is not charging, and that goes everytime i plug it in. so i need a way either to fix the problem with the stopped charging after few seconds or i need a way to enable max performance for the fps even when the battery is not charging (only ac adapter plugged in). Note: i already set the power plan to high performance, as well as the switchable ati graphics for the dota process.

What happens if you try to run the laptop with the battery removed?
