Hello Guys, i have a problem.. i have Toshiba l505-s9990.. laptop, i bought it like 2 years ago.. i used more for playing, i could play really well, till i have to replace my AC Adapter.. now the Graphics are too bad for playing.. with the replacement adapter.. it has something to do with it?

Although the power adapter may have a role in your issues, I would suspect heat to be a primary factor. A disassembly and physical cleaning may solve all of your issues. First download a temperature monitoring program like Coretemp or CPU-Z -see what your temps are - if above 80C, a physical cleaning will most likely be the answer. If not, post the temps you're showing.
If it turns out your temps are high, here are some how-to's for your model laptop (first one is 3 pages).

It is rather involved, you may want to take it to a computer shop for cleaning.
Good luck

Do you still have your old ac adapter?

Take a look at the specs and make sure they are the same. Could be they may have gave you an ac adapter with higher power therefore heating up your GPU.

I had this issue with one of my laptops. I believed because it's the same brand ac adapter that it would work. I was wrong and now my computer is slower than ever. Lesson learned to always get the same specs if you don't wont to burn anything out in your laptop.

um i dont think circuits work like you think they do. just because the adapter CAN output XX amps doesnt mean it always outputs that much. also there is a lot of circuittry that would prevent to much voltage to the gpu.

id be worry more with the adapter cant supply ENOUGH energy to the laptop.

Actually that is exactly how electricity works. Electricity is like water, it will always flow down the path of less resistance. So if an AC adapter allows power it will flow through it to the MAX capacity of the adapter. So if it puts out something like 2 amps but the laptop should only be getting 1.3amps the extra .7amps will STILL be there. Its not that the laptop is requesting the extra power, its that the extra power is going to it because its the easier route for it. So I say to OP confirm that the adapters are the same, because YES too many amps going into the laptop WILL cause problems.

Complete and utter bullshit.

then how come your fan in your room doesnt have 30 amps running through it when it says on the back of it 2 amps. the wall can supply 30 amps but thats not what the fan has running through it. it has 2 amps running through it.
