lucid 2 passmark ranking question

im looking at smartphones and was browsing thru the passmark ratings and noticed the lg lucid 2 w/krait 1.2ghz duel core ranks higher than all the krait 1.5 duel cores and 1.5 snapdragon duel core phones. how is that and what does that mean as far as is it better than the phones with the other processors?

When we talk about processors - speed doesn't matter as much as architecture.

An 800mhz dual core can perform just as well as a 1.2ghz dual core if it's made better. It's all about hardware optimization.

As far as the phone being better or worse, it depends on what you plan to use it for. And imho, online reviews are always too critical. It's better to go play around with some display models in a store and get a feel for which one suits you best.
