Lumia 928 Help

Got the Nokia Lumia 928 on Verizon yesterday, loved it. I was sending messages this morning and then set it down and when I came back it was no longer on. It won't turn on and when I plug it in it vibrates and then a little crack of light shoots across the screen and it repeats this, but never turns on. Any thoughts? I tried using the power button and I also tried doing the soft reset (power+volume down).
