Mac for music production

I need to make the most out this investment. This will only be used for music (Logic pro x). I want to make sure the system is adequate without wasting unnecessarily.

2.9GHz Dual-core Intel Core i7, 8GB of memory, and 1TB Hard Drive (upgradeable to 128GB SSD $100) :$1399

2.8GHz Dual-core Intel Core i5, 8GB of memory, 128GB PCIe-based flash storage: $1399

2.6GHz Dual-core Intel Core i5, 8GB of memory, 128GB PCIe-based flash storage: $1299

3.0GHz Dual-core Intel Core i7, 8GB of memory, 128GB PCIe-based flash storage: $1599

I would go for the 2.8GHz i5. Then get a 1tb external HDD for music and other things. You don't really need an i7 for music production, but if you are able to get it, go with the i7 with the SSD.
