Hello,
I'm looking to get a new computer. Mostly because I'm going to be a freshman in College in the Spring and I need to dump my now 4 year old Toshiba that's falling apart.
It has 231 Gb which I've used over the amount {Which is now in an external} and I use Adobe Photoshop as well as Sony Vegas for projects.
I was wondering if I should go with the Macbook Pro 15 or 17" My Toshiba is a 17 inch and I do like the big screen.
I've researched the Macs but is it really going to be worth spending 2400$ {including shipping} and then perhaps another hundred or so for Mac only software? {Microsoft Office, etc}

PC is better.. Server who likes to waste money only gets Mac.... MAC are too overpriced these days...
Get this if you have $2400 to spend...

The only bad thing about this laptop is literally nothing but just no LED which you'll have to buy a calibrator to make it look better...

EDIT: This one got LED LCD but no RAID and a bit slower CPU(Just by 0.20GHz) and Stereo not as good as the other one as will with the same to keyboard which shouldn't really matters...

i find mac are better polished but cost about twice as much in the 17" laptop segment. the decision you have to make is how much you want to pay for designer made fashion? all the important hardware are all basicly the same nowadays.
