96w power adapter, that is a crazy high power requirement. A vast majority of thin and light intel laptops are coming with 61w power adapters.

I want to buy a MacBook Pro 14’’ M2 Max, but I am a bit concerned about the thermal throttling. It seems MacBook Pro 14 M2 Max runs extremely hot. What do you recommend me?

Yes, thin and light laptops. Just like the MacBook Pro 13" which also comes with a 61W power adapter. But if you want go go that route we can compare with the MacBook Air which comes with a 30W power adapter.

You make it sound as if the Intel laptops are less power hungry when it's actually the opposite if you compare apples vs apples (no pun intended).
