Hmmm. I was hoping for a more comprehensive review.
Codec support? Does it support AV1? VP9? etc. Does it support DSC when using DP Alt mode over TB/USB C? Essential for connecting say 1x 120Hz 2160p 10bit HDR Monitor.
It's been reported in many places that there are issues with the M1 Macs;
Bluetooth random disconnects,
WiFi 6 performance is not as good as Intel's WiFi 6 implementation,
USB 3.2 Gen 2 SSD plugged into the type C ports runs at 5Gbps etc.
When will Apple introduce Thunderbolt 4? (it's almost there), HDMI 2.1, DP 2.0 etc.

I wish these reviews would include mention of non- game software. I bought a MacBook Pro with the M1 chip and 16GB ram. That’s the current highest M1 configuration. Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator run terribly. I average a literal 4 crashes per hour (1 hard reset of the laptop per hour and have had a least 2 crashes while saving).

So if you need to use Adobe software professionally, wait several months until Adobe gets their act together. They’ve had time to prepare but have only made Lightroom M1 compatible. I am currently using Affinity Designer and Pixelmator Pro in place of Illustrator and Photoshop.
