"Mini-LED, for the unaware, is seen as a superior and replacement technology for OLED screens. They are said to offer the same perks as OLED — higher contrast ratios, truer black tones and quite bright panels — without the burn-in issue that can ruin an OLED screen."

Nearly this entire paragraph is wrong. Nobody sees it as superior to OLED, or as a replacement technology. Mini-LED is still antiquated LED backlit technology, just with more LEDs and more dimming zones. It is a current, temporary technology put out to offer more localized contrast and less blooming. Yes, it can likely get brighter due to not needing ABL like OLED, and yes it doesn't have burn-in. But in no way is it considered superior or a replacement to OLED. QNED and MicroLED are the only known technologies considered to be possibly superior to, and a replacement to, OLED, if they can get the the size and cost down.
