Major Change to be VR with WS and gaming desktop

Just had my 1st computer built and it's been a month. Thought I was, but clearly I'm not VR ready. I would like to hear some ideas as to how to get VR ready with my current set up and (if i still can) what I need to change in order to get there. I ran the Steam VR test, yet it doesn't give you detailed recommendations as to run VR and was hoping the community would. 1st time writer, and have been looking to here since college in '09. All comments are appreciated! Thanks
