Solved! making loud buzzing sound

hooked up my new smart tv, had rca cables from amp hooked up to old tv, bought the optical adapter and toslink cable to convert since new tvs dont use rca jacks anymore. works fine on regular tv but when i go into smart tv mode (ie you tube etc) it makes a loud buzzing sound through the speakers..
any ideas why?

i solved it..just elimnated RCA cables all together just plug Toslink cable from tv directly into reciever
