MBOT_306 what is it and how to remove

Hi all

I recently noticed a strange looking 'file' in my CCleaner panel called:
'MBOT_306' and i don't have a clue what it is.
I've tried several extensive google searches and never come up with a straight answer so I've finally given in and thought I'd post on here.

My computers been running alot slower since I noticed it and it shouldn't be considering the CPU and amount of RAM I have.

So any help off of you lovely people would be greatly appreciated.
It's very rare i have to post and ask for help but I'm at a complete loss and don't know what else to do.

I've done several different virus checks and Root-Kit checks but all come up empty handed! :-/

Thank you in advanced for any assistance you may be able to provide as I'm quite hesitant to do a full system restore or format if it can be avoided.

What Anti-virus are you using?

Can you do a system restore before you got that file?

First of all, thank you for replying.

I'm using a full AVG (paid for)
And i have no idea? i had no need to check if i could do a restore before that tbh.
Just noticed the strange file bout 2-3 days ago.

That is a well trusted anti-virus. I would contact AVG and see if they think it is a bad file, if it is they will tell you how to remove it safely from your PC.
