Merge partition free

Hello,
I have a sony with a partition drive that I would like to merge the partition into one drive (C). Operating system Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition Version 2002 Service Pack 3. What is the best third party software to use for this older computer.

You also can use a LiveCD to do that. Personally, I like to use Gparted.
