Question Messenger: create a shortcut

Hello,

With latest Android version or Messenger version (or combination of both), I can no longer use the shortcut function on Messenger. Its no longer there in fact.

I've tried downgrading to an older version of Messenger, which doesnt seem to work.

Is the only solution a routing to an older Android version?

They took away the shortcut feature in the latest Messenger update so I'm afraid that wont work.

It works on a very old crappy phone I have with an old version of Android. Seems like this is the trick tho. That phone is extremely slow so cant be using that one to do this sadly.

Trying to find out if there are other ways to do this than routing my Huawei.
