Mfr drivers & chip drivers

Ok, I'm confused, again. I have an ASUS GeForce2MX video card. There are upgrade drivers out there for the video card and newer NVidia drivers too. Which do I use or both?
Will installing the NVidia drivers cancel the use of an special features of the video card?

i'd say get the detonator drivers. they should be the one that give you the most of your graphic card. the one from asus are only there for starting. asus wont do drivers with advanced T&L or all the things nvidia get out.

try detonator drivers, if it work for you!

i would stay with the manufactors drivers that way they can support it with you
