Hey guys.

I tried to follow a tutorial about installing "VoiceMeeter and Virtual Audio Cable" and got through it pretty well. But i noticed that my mic was cutting out. So i thought well, it was working yesterday so i probably messed up at the tutorial.
So i uninstalled the software and drivers but the mic would still cut out.

For example when i say hello and stretch the o "helloooooooo" something messes with the gain of the mic. It sounds like i mute and unmute my self repeatly.

It happens with my Headset (HyperX cloud 2) and my Mic (Blue Yeti) aswell. USB Port does not change anything.

What i tried so far:
(The screens content german language sry :/ but i hope u'll understand)

1)
Making sure everthing is unchecked at the exclusive mode: (Sound > Input Devices > [The mic] > Properties > Advanced)

2)
Did the same for Discord so it should not adjust the mic sens by itself:

3)
Tried other USB ports

4)
Updated all Drivers with "Avast Driver Updater"
restarted the PC

5)
Tried the "hellooooooo" tactic in Audacity again.

I streched the o until the end of the recording, but you see that all of the sudden no audio signal comes through.

6)
plugged the Mic + Headset into another PC to see wether the same problem occurs. It does not. So it has to be something my PC.

7)
after saving some data on an external drive, formated all Harddrives (completely) (i thought: maybe i messed up pretty bad :D)
reinstalled Windows 10
Made sure off step 1) - 4)

I read some posts about the same / similar problem on this forum (and other sources), but the given solutions could not help me.

It's just annoying at this point.
... The only thing i could imagine is a Hardware Problem.. but i dont know which sort of Hardware Problem or how to test whether this is the case.

Maybe you got some ideas i could try.
