Question Mic picks up other sounds over my voice.

My microphone is picking up my computer audio and it drowns out my voice so that it is quiet. It sounds like there is white noise and distortion. I've tried adjusting the levels in the microphone properties, plugging it into a different microphone port (one of the front panel and one on the back) , uninstalling and reinstalling the audio driver, and everything else I could find on the internet. Nothing has worked, please help.
