Microphone Plays PC Audio

I have already looked through alot of threads but my problem is that it doesnt pick it up it is actually playing it. Like when I listen to spotify it comes out hd
Please help.

There is a very good chance the jack is a speaker/microphone jack and it has four conductors. You need a mic/speaker splitter that has 4 conductors at the plug.

There are actually 3 kinds of 3.5mm 4-conductor plugs, one of which may actually work depending on where your stereo jack's ground connector is

and there's also a mono headset jack too

Of course, the mic could simply be misconfigured as a speaker in the sound control panel too.
