microphone problems please help

I just got OAproda® New Generation 2.4G Professional Optical Fiber Wireless Gaming Headset with Detachable & Volume Control Microphone and I've had it for a few weeks and the microphone stopped working and occasionally it will work for like a day then stop again and i was wondering what the problem could be and if so how to fix it?

The reviews on that thing are horrible! Most likely the thing is broken, so just return to the store and get a refund. After that buy something that's actually worth it's price.
