Im looking for some advice on setting up my audio for recording and streaming. Currently, i have a sennheiser e835 mic connected to a presonus audiobox usb (links below). However, my audio does not sound how i expect it to. It sounds poor for what i would expect from this mic. Its pretty quiet, even with the volume on the audiobox all the way up and the recording volume on it in Windows at 100. My voice sounds thin, i have a deeper voice but hearing it recorded through this it doesn't sound at all like what it sounds like when recorded before. What can i do to get better quality? Do i need a mixer?

Solution
These mic's (although fantastic - I have two!) require a fair amount more 'poke' than the equivalent's such as the Shure sm58. If i were you, i would definitely use a mixer for use as a pre-amp if anything. It will enable you to pre-gain the mic, and then feed it on to the usb audio adaptor.

Thank you. I went ahead and ordered a mackie mixer. Looking forward to what it'll sound like.

No problem, glad to help!
Good choice with the Mackie!

Best regards,
