I'm using a Rock Band microphone on my pc and I'm trying to use it on skype for talking to my friends while playing games. Problem is: it's quiet as hell.
I have to get right up to it for my voice to come in loud. I've gone into the sound panel and turned up the levels to 100%, and also went to the communications tab and checked "Do Nothing".
(The other options are "Mute other sounds", "Reduce volume of other sounds by 80%", and "Reduce the volume of other sounds by 50%", in case you dont know what im talking about)
I'm not quite sure what else to do. Any and all help is much appreciated. Thanks.
