What's really funny is Microsoft's studio, 343 Industries (now know as Halo Studios), uses an older version of Easy Anti-Cheat that crashes 24H2 with a BSOD for Halo Infinite. I confirmed when digging into the logs when displayed with the installation error, uninstalling Halo Infinite, updating Windows to 24H2, then reinstalling Infinite. As soon as the game closes, I got the BSOD every time.

Microsoft pushed a Windows update that stopped the BSOD by blocking the launch of the game at all, and displaying an error about Easy Anti-Cheat.

You can't update a Microsoft product because a Microsoft product is too out of date. Classic.
