maybe they don't want to fix it and if you need that it will be part of the new windows 10. so you just have to drop the windows you run now and ''buy'' there new software to resolve ?? lets face it that's how Microsoft operates ..

@junkeymonkey. I'm sorry but MS does NOT operate like that. Their bread and butter is business and, sooner or later, they WILL fix the issue. Maybe, just maybe, they have to REALLY test patch A or patch B otherwise it might just crash millions of computers.

Well, one of those patches for older OSes, is bad. The KB3013455 update is now infamously called the " font render bug" and if made my computer fonts appear broken and thin. Uninstall it asap IMO.
