I do agree that the ear thing was pretty damn crazy. But at the same time, if you watch the replay reels, Holyfield was incredibly unsportsmanlike through both bouts, headbutting Tyson repeatedly. Holyfield was never known as a saint either, and his sportsmanship was always questioned. But you are right, ripping the dude's ear off was too much. lol
