Minecraft, and Pixelmon able laptop.

I just basically want to know what would be the cheapest, yet capable laptop, to run Pixelmon and Minecraft, with mods and such. I am clueless to these games and their needs. I am assuming he will be playing only these games on the laptop, and nothing high end. He has an Xbox, so I am not concerned with super high end. I am just looking for a Bday present that will satiate the needs of lower end graphic aforementioned games, and play them without issue. Please and thanks for any help.

That laptop is okay I suppose. The integrated Radeon HD 8450 is actually slower than the Intel HD 4000 graphics core so it's not a great deal. Oh.. and that's Canadian $, not US $.

In case you are in Canada, then I would get following Lenovo G510 for $529. It has the current generation Core i3-4000M with the Intel HD 4600 is is about 30%+ more powerful than the previous Intel HD 4000.

Lenovo lists the CPU as i3-4000MQ, but no such CPU exists. It is a typo.
