Mircrosoft Outlook

Hello, I have just installed Microsoft Office - it is Genuine, and I have attempted to setup Microsoft Outlook and it successfully sent a test email... but it did not recieve it. When I click New Mail it says "You do not have permission to perform this operation". Can I please get some assistance at correcting this? Thank you.
