Mitsubishi DLP's acting weird upon shut down

I have two mitsubishi dlp. One is 65 and one is 60, from differing years. However, they both exhibit a weird issue. Upon turning off the tv, they act normally until about 60 seconds in and then the green light comes on blinking fairly rapidly and consistently, no pattern. No other lights turn on. After a bit it stops and nothing else happens. When you go to turn it on, in low power setting, the green light comes on again and blinks slowly this time and when done, the tv turns on. Almost like a power outage behavior. If the power is on the high power setting, then the green light is solid upon turning on and stays solid with the tv starting up normally. There are no other issues, lights, etc. Once on the tv's run wonderfully.

Any ideas?

This happens to me too on my Mitsubishi DLP. I’m not sure exactly what it is either, but it almost seems like some sort of power down thing? But it doesn’t always happen.

As you said, .I usually just let it blink for a while and eventually it stops.
