Question Model: Acer Predator Helios PH315-51 (New 2.5" 1 TB SSD not showing up in BIOS)

I was gifted a Samsung 860 EVO 1TB SSD this Christmas to increase my storage capacity, but after installing it the SSD doesn't show up in the BIOS at all.

I've also noticed that the pin config for the 2.5" HDD cable I have is 9 x 7, whereas the SSD pin config is 15 x 7. If this is the issue then could I just replace the cable with a 15 pin one or do I have to return this gift and find a SSD that is compatible with my computer's cable?
