Rip a lead out of an old router, preferably a good one with choke. Sharp side cutter to prise the retainers so you do not damage the cable. Strip a couple mm and place center to old antenna in the controller, ground to the backplane (negative, ground ), it is roughly 2 mm away. Of course, take out the old cough cough ~antenna. You will need a soldering iron, and a fine tip.
~5-6 mm hole for the jack in the controller, and strap on an old Asus high gain dipole antenna.
Range is now well over 100M , can't see the drone but can bring it back.
Xs809s is not modified, only the controller.
